The machine is the Featherweight Model 221, with a Cat. 3-120 motor. The serial number on the bottom of the machine is: AJ366487.     The motor is marked, "Singer Sewing Motor - Cat. 3-120, 110-120 Volts - .0.4 Amp. 25 - 75 cycles". Comes complete with case, several Singer sewing machine attachments, foot pedal, three bobbins and manual. The bottom of the machine has the following: SIMANCO  U.S.A. 45713.       The manual was published by Singer Sewing Machine Co., Singer Building, N.Y. It is Form 1689, Rev. 1939.     The storage box that this feather weight is stored in measures 13" wide, 8" deep and 11 1/2" high. The attachment tray is included. The case shows some wear around the edges and one of the latches is broken. The machine in the case weighs over 18 lbs. If you have been looking for a Singer Featherweight, then this would be the machine to purchase.       This machine is in very good vintage condition. The Celtic chain decals on the sewing bed are in excellent condition, showing little wear. They are a deep golden color as can be seen in the photographs. All other decals are in very good condition as well. The finish is bright and shiny. There are no paint chips or deep usage marks.
