I am so confident that you will be very happy upon purchasing this machine that if you are not, I will refund your money! (Less shipping and return of machine). I have been a quilter for many years and I can't imagine life without at least one Featherweight 221. This machine was produced in 1965 in Clydebank Scotland. It is in great condition for it's age! It has a few chips around the wheel and a couple of pin scratches on the sewing bed. And if you have been looking for a 221 K machine for very long, you know this is minimal. The case looks great, just check out the photos. I have tried to give you the tour of the machine just as if you were looking at it in person with the photos included in the auction. Any small white flecks are a defect in the camera/photographer not defects or flaws in the machine.. If there are any photos that are not shown here that you would like to see of this machine, just let me know. It comes with: Chocolate and Cream case All parts that are normally on and in the machine Foot Attachments (all listed below) 8 Bobbins Tube of oil Pad for under the machine The only smell in the case is that of machine oil. It will be packed with the utmost care!! I have received enough machines broken and damaged in shipment to know what the pitfalls are. I have been a seller in ebay since 2000. I have a great track record with shipping. (specific details listed below). It will come with a filled bobbin in the bobbin case, threaded and with a test piece of fabric under the sewing foot. Shipping will be either USPS, FedEx or UPS, depending on your location and cost. I only charge what the post office, FedEx or UPS charges me. The cost should show up at the top of this listing. Insurance is included in the cost of this item. This machine has been fine tuned from top to bottom (specific details listed below). You will need to reinstall this part when it arrives. Don't worry it is very simple and requires a flat head screwdriver to tighten one screw. The machine will be wrapped in tissue paper then placed in the case along with separately packed/wrapped items included in the auction (oil tube, sewing feet, etc..). The case will be filled with peanuts (tight). The foot control will be wrapped in tissue paper. Don't worry about the mess on the floor. It all will be packed in a large plastic bag, so all peanuts will stay in one place. Then there will be a bigger box with more peanuts. Again they will be in another large plastic bag. I will provide insurance on the shipping up to the amount the machine sells for. Just in case others are not as careful as I am. Machine Tune Up: Machine has been cleaned internally and has had new oil placed on all parts requiring oil. A new belt has been placed on the machine. Felt pad has been replaced inside the machine The motor brushes have been checked for wear and are within normal limits. The motor is 110. The light has been tested. The bobbin winder has been tested. A small cork bumper has been added to the face plate. You can leave it on or take it off. It is there to protect the hinged part of the sewing area. A spool spring and felt has been replaced with brand new items. Repairs Made to Machine Case and Machine: No large repairs were needed on this machine. It is in such good shape. It has had an overall tune up. When I do make repairs, the books below are my guide. They are considered the bible of Featherweights by many quilters.
